Description
VGS2-FDCT start-authorization repair
Is your Mercedes reporting P0513-00 (P051300): The start enable was not issued? We offer a send-in bench service to assess and repair the affected authorization data in your original VGS2-FDCT transmission control module. This fault can occur after a low-voltage event and may prevent starting or selecting a gear.
What this service includes
- Bench identification and communication checks on your original TCM.
- Repair of the supported P0513-00 / P051300 authorization-data fault, where recoverable.
- Return of your original module after service.
Send your original module first
- Purchase the $350 service and select an available round-trip shipping option at checkout. Shipping is charged separately.
- Follow the label and packing instructions provided with your order. Include your order number, vehicle VIN, fault report, and details of any previous programming or repair attempts.
- Send your removed original VGS2-FDCT TCM securely packaged, with residual fluid contained and connectors protected. A donor TCM, key, EIS, and the vehicle are not required for this original-module repair service.
- We assess and service the module after it arrives, then return it. Your installer refits it and verifies starting and transmission operation in the vehicle.
Controller identification
This service is for VGS2-FDCT controllers with the fault above. The pictured example is A0054463710, revision K05. Confirm the controller identification and fault code before ordering; model year alone does not establish compatibility. Contact us with your label photo if you are unsure.
Repair scope
Recovery depends on the condition of the module and its original data. Previous programming, virginization, or unsuccessful repairs can affect recoverability; please disclose them before sending the unit. This service does not include a replacement module, donor cloning, removal/installation, mechanical or hydraulic transmission repair, or diagnosis of unrelated vehicle faults. If additional work or a different repair is needed, we will contact you before proceeding. Bench checks do not replace the installer’s final in-vehicle verification.
