This kit repairs the line connected to port P (P as in Paul) on the FRONT ABC valve block. The rear valve block also has a port marked P, but it uses a different line. This kit does not fit the rear port P line. Confirm the valve block is at the front of the vehicle and compare the product photos before ordering.
Mercedes R230 SL500 ABC Car Killer hose repair kit
A leak in the ABC hydraulic line connected to the front valve block can turn into an expensive repair. This kit provides a factory OEM hydraulic hose and a hydraulic coupler to replace the affected hose section by coupling it to the existing line. It is designed for the line shown in our product photos.
Fitment: 2003–2006 SL500 and front valve block port P
The listed application is the 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006 Mercedes-Benz SL500, chassis R230, with ABC (Active Body Control) suspension. Locate the line originating at the front valve block port labeled P and compare it with all four gallery photos above.
The original hose reference associated with this repair is 2309970682 / 230-997-06-82. A matching model name or an ABC warning alone does not identify the leaking line. Confirm the line location and connections before ordering.

Is this an ABC suspension hose or a brake hose?
It is an ABC suspension hydraulic hose kit for the identified R230 SL500 line. It is not a brake hose kit.
Does this kit fix every ABC leak or warning?
No. It addresses the hose section shown in the gallery, connected to port P on the front valve block. A leak elsewhere in the ABC system needs its own diagnosis and repair.
Does it fit other R230 models or model years?
